I seem to end up here about once a week on average; it's a super friendly neighborhood bakery which is especially popular on weekend mornings. My favorite thing here is probably the olive bread, although the other varieties are quite nice too. They actually do _real_ sourdough here, made from flour, water, and salt!
If you like sweets, you will enjoy most of the pastries and cookies as they are definitely heavy on the sugar side. I especially like the morning buns, scones, and their croissants are always a crowd pleaser. Their tarts (savory and sweet) are amazing, particularly the apple tart. Who am I kidding? Everything is good!
Insider tip: on weekdays after 11 AM, you can get a lunch sandwich served on their delicious bread. The tofu sandwich is surprisingly good!
