It was my night out with the family and we decided on Indian. Being that we aren't familiar with many restaurants in Airdrie, being mostly creatures of habit. Taj is located in a strip mall and as we came across it we thought it was closed because there weren't any lights and no one in the restaurant. We were seated right away and the waiter was very friendly. As we perused the menu they had mostly the classics :Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken etc.. Prices were higher than normal. Food was delicious what can I say. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because you pay for Rice and Naan bread separately which I've never seen in any other Indian restaurant. Secondly the service once we received was average. Food was great but the fact that I had to pay for Rice and Naan separately really killed the experience for me and I doubt I'd be back.
