| - So I have had to lower expectations coming from Oregon to Las Vegas, NV. Wasn't sure what to expect today at the ranch, but went with an open mind because of good reviews. It is kind of like a hodgepodge of activities here, and a bit crowded for the space.
My review is mainly of their old, old playground equipment. My son and daughter enjoyed the merry-go-round, but we saw many children fall off and get hurt while riding it. Also, on our way out, my two children went down the slide near the front entrance. With the large bump on the slide, my son ended up face planting right into the hay/dirt and he got some cuts on his face and bled. Lots of crying. Not a good way to end the afternoon at the "pumpkin patch."
The highlight of the event was the free photography session by LaLa photography. Nice staff and they had western dress up clothes. They were the highlight, and not even a part of the ranch.
Will we return to this ranch? No. We can live without the old playground equipment injuries! On our way out we notified a staff person, whose response was "that's the first one today." No apology for it. (I realize there is risk in letting kids play on things, but if several kids are getting hurt, may be time to look into getting some safer equipment, or just not having any).
