Came here for my birthday not to long ago after dropping hints that this is where I wanted to come. Located at the Aria you already knew this place was going to be a step above the majority of the restaurants on the strip. Gorgeous modern and nostalgic decor is noticed as soon as you walk onto the marble floor and into this eclectic brasserie. It was a very busy night but we were seated immediately due to the fact that we had reservations. Definitely not a great place for a first date or a romantic evening, as the seats are rather Close together. Great for a night out with friends in town or to celebrate something special. Started off with the French onion soup and the steak tartar. Onion soup was phenomenal. Large portion with excellent flavor. Caramelized onions with a generous helping of brioche style bread in a decadent beef broth. The cheese on top was melted to a golden brown. 5/5 Steak tartar.... wow enough said. Topped off with a quail egg and seved with row of crosscut chips. Seasoned beautifully it had a crisp and refreshing taste. 5/5. Next was the scallops and fillet. Fillet was very tender and juicy. Standard fillet. Seasoned ok, salt and pepper. 4/5. Scallops were succulent and cooked perfectly as to not dry out. 5/5 Ended the night with the baked Alaska. Amazing table side flambé presentation but all in all a 3:5. Nothing spectacular. Great atmosphere, pretty good service and amazing food make for a great combo here.
