This used to be my go to dealer. We used them for all our major service and we bought a new car here. We would drive past 3 Ford dealers that are closer to our place. I used to think this dealer cared a lot more about customers? but turns out, they are like any other dealer - they use their customers instead of serve their customers.
I made a service appointment a week in advance. I let them know I would be waiting as the drive to get there is over a half hour each way. All I wanted was a diagnostic - no fix on that day. They wanted $130 + tax for the diagnostic - I said no problem. When I show up to my appointment, I am told they will need to keep my truck for 4 days! Yes, 4 days! What's the point of making an appointment if you have to leave your truck (our only vehicle) there for 4 days? This is even though I only wanted to find out if I needed a fix or not. The service tech agreed? that it would likely? take only 15 minutes to do the diagnostic, but they still would need the truck for 4 days!
So, Sanderson is no longer my go to dealer. I can get that kind of service at any dealer so why am I driving past 3 Ford dealers for that?
