Just went here for breakfast. The food was good (had The Simple Life). The bacon was thick and high quality as was the huge English muffin. I would speculate that the muffins are homemade or bought local perhaps? The environment of the place was cool and thy had great music playing. The patio was nice and comfy (minus the plethora of flies but I attribute that to the very recent rain we had this morning).
I would say my only "complaint" is the service. It wasn't bad but our server just sort of acted like she didn't care, in general (maybe she was having an off day or maybe donor was rude to her earlier...never know). However, she wouldn't look me in the eyes (or even at my face) when she'd ask a question or I'd request something or answer her questions. She'd do drive-by questions where they ask you something as they walk by and don't really stop or even slow down to listen to your answer. I also didn't get a full cup of coffee and didn't get asked if I wanted a refill. My attempts to stop her to ask for more failed as well since she didn't look in our direction as she was near us. All minor things of course but just something that would have helped get a 5 out of 5 rating from me.
I'd definitely go again and would recommend going for a laid back upscale unpretentious breakfast. Just be prepared to wait for that second cup of coffee.
