| - Sadly as much as I have been a regular visitor at this location, I think I'll drive a little further to go to the the other HL stores. I had to return some items (all with tags and unopened) today without a receipt because I couldn't find it. But man, next time I'll make sure to have it. They literally treat you as if you stole from them if you don't have a receipt. The last time this happened, the manager was like "next time do your return first" which I did. Based on just that comment, he pretty much made it clear that I could have gone back there and grabbed the item and was trying to "return" it which was not the case since I was in line the whole fricken time. This time, I had my items in a bag, all with price stickers, and unopened and yet I was still treated as if I could've stolen the items. The first item was found on a cc but two items were not. The cashier tells her manager to look it up online to see if they still carried it. Umm HL never carries all their inventory online, like at all, but whatever. Their online store is a joke! So he checks it, I guess he found one of the items but the other item was not online. He then calls the lady from the paper crafting area so she can look to see if they carry it. I head back there and she was having a hard time finding it but I knew exactly where it was because it's the aisle I found it at when I bought it. I show it to her and she says "oh ok, you'll definitely get your money back." I go back to the front to finish the return and I guess because the numbers didn't match up or it wasn't found online, they said that i couldn't get the full price of $24.99 but rather it would be 40% off of that because it should be in punches. "Umm wtf?!" You have it in the planners section which you never ever have on sale and now you're saying it should be regarded as a punch and punches are 40% off right now so you'll only give me 60% of what I paid? It makes no sense to me at all but whatever. As the cashier was finally processing the return, I told her how customers should definitely keep their receipts because if they don't, you'll get treated like a criminal. I can understand if the items I was returning were opened or if I did walk around the store and then make a return but I didn't. I went straight to the register and all my items were unopened and their price stickers and tags were on every single item. This visit has definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth. Way to treat this loyal customer, Hobby Lobby!
