Came here on a Wednesday evening for a mother-daughter date night with my Mom (of course). The weather was perfect so we sat on the terrace.
Our servers were all polite and friendly. We decided to have 3 courses each. For appetizer she had the seasonal ceviche and I the lyonnaise salad. The ceviche was super fresh and well executed and served with wonderful, thick-cut homemade tortilla chips and a smear of fresh avocado. The lyonnaise salad was made in the classic style but also well executed.
For entrees I had the braised short rib and she had the pork belly. Again both very well done and not easy things to do perfectly. The pork belly way beautifully crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The short rib was perfectly seasoned and so buttery tender that we used a fork.
For dessert she opted for their homemade ice cream (gingerbread) in a homemade cookie shell and I the lemon berry panna cotta. Both were perfectly creamy and the flavors were spot on but I must say the panna cotta was amazing! Thankfully my mom enjoyed The gingerbread ice cream so much that I got to hog the panna cotta for myself.
Between the food and the excellent and attentive service this place is definitely five stars. It is a great place for special occasions or just a night out with friends.
