| - This little restaurant has been in this shopping center for years. I've eaten here about 3 times, but I will critique my latest experience as they all have been very similar.
We arrived about 6 pm for dinner and there was one other couple in the place. Seated pretty quickly, but that was the only thing fast. The service was painfully slow, from the arrival of the food to getting refills on drinks. Considering the place was fairly empty, you'd think they'd be a little more attentive, but service is not their strong suit.
The food is fresh, looks like fresh veggies. The meat portions are small. Everything served family style so you can share. We ordered egg rolls and I wasn't impressed. They were burning hot on the outside and lukewarm on the inside, plus they really weren't that flavorful.
I had the Kung pao chicken and that was a mistake. Too spicy hot for me. I'm used to the "spicy" food at Pei Wei, aka, not spicy. Difficult to heat, but if you like heat then you would love it. Red chiles were abundant in the meal. Husband had the Moo Shoo pork (not sure if I spelled that correctly). It came pre assembled in 4 burrito looking type things with a side of sauce. I forgot to mention that the egg rolls also came with a dipping sauce. It tasted like jelly to me. Way to sweet and definitely not homemade on either sauce.
The rice comes separate in a covered pot so you can portion it out as needed.
Overall, I'm not super impressed with the food and the service was not good. Prices are very average. So it's up to you if you want to give it a go. I must tell you that when you walk in you will feel like you've been transported back to 1972.
