Signed up for 24 month silver package, ultimate internet, 250+ channels, home phone, HBO & Showtime at $109/month...oh, and a $100 Visa gift card. Once I registered and identified as former (7 years ago) Customer, I received an email saying there is a "problem" with my order. I contacted Cox and was told it would be changed to 12 months, and cost $149/month.
Deceptive, unethical. Now for the best part...
45 minutes dealing with Cox trying to get the deal I signed up for. Ultimately referred to the "Loyalty" department (comical, yes?)...to do what? Spend another 45 minutes? I pushed the order out 3 days to shop for alternatives.
