| - GIGANTIC APPLE FRITTERS- I knew I had to stop by and check those out during my trip to Madison. They are also open 24/7, which is a huge plus. We stopped by around 9:30pm on a Friday, and they weren't busy at the time, and still had a large variety of different donuts. I just wish the donuts were actually labeled- they have a sign with the different varieties, but you had to guess which donut was which, or just ask the people working there. We ended up trying:
-Raspberry Filled Rabbis Delight & Old Fashioned Blueberry ($1) [http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=lHp0KzCqf7rXh4rppQ0oug&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg]: The rabbis delight was just ok- it was very dense, and there wasn't enough filling in my opinion. However, the old fashioned blueberry was very good, and had great blueberry flavor- recommended!
-Apple Fritter ($5.50, http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=FRDJSbF5B7l77iSxp055hQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): The giant fritters are obviously one of the main stars here, and this is a must try! They were able to fry it well for the large size, and it had a good amount of apple chunks. The glaze was delicious. They also have a blueberry fritter and another flavor, but the worker said the apple is the most popular.
They also had an Oreo filled donut and a few other varieties I didn't get to try. If I lived in Madison I would definitely be here all the time. Definitely worth stopping by to pick up breakfast for the next day if you're driving through, or vacationing here. Parking was easy since they have their own lot and we came later on in the night, but the lot isn't that big.
