| - We purchased a bedroom set at Mor a few months back. It was a relatively painless transaction. The furniture is decent quality, they have a good selection, and the prices are fair. Fast forward a few months and we bought a new house and needed all new furniture to fill it. I received an invitation to a private event at the showroom. Cool just in time. We go and are under the impression that the special sale prices are for that night only so we felt pressured to make the decision that night only to find out the next day that the sale went on after the event. We spent over 2 hours deciding on what we wanted only to pay and find out that the items we wanted were on back order for a month! We already sold our other couch and couldn't go that long with out a place to sit. Sales guy should have told us some time in that 2 hours that we couldn't get the stuff immediately. Anyway, he works it out so the pieces come in different shipments, couch first and on time, the rest as it gets to the warehouse. Cool, no problem, works for us. Couch comes on time, as well as, the table we ordered. I'm cleaning the table and realize it is missing important screws. Call customer service and they ship me the screws, the WRONG SCREWS! Call them back they send a tech. Now keep in mind I still don't have all of the furniture. Sales guy, who is also a sales manager, says I'm going to get the rest of my order on May 11 (bought the stuff on April 13), I get a call on May 9 saying it won't arrive until May 26. I call sales guy, and btw you can't call the showroom directly you have to call customer service and have them transfer you, he says he'll do whatever he can. He calls me back and tells me we're still on for the 18th. On the 16th I get a call now my stuff isn't coming until May 26!!!! By this point I'm furious. After several threatening phone calls I finally got the rest of my purchase on May 18th but I'm not sure how the merchandise magically appeared in the warehouse. I was also offered a $100 gift certificate. I asked the person I spoke to if he was out of his mind and did he really think I would give them more business. Never again will I ever, ever, ever by one stick of furniture from this place.
