  • this is the symptom of the decline of the American Empire. The throw away culture. Worship of Fashion, Celebrity, Superficiality. This mall is the tombstone of the middle class. Excessive wastefulness, clinging pride, depression of the soul. This mall and its surroundings are a reminder. Replay the end scene of the original Planet of the Apes movie, and picture Charleton Heston on his hands and knees cursing this mall.
