I was excited to try this place because I haven't been to any Michael Mina restaurants before but in all honesty the food was a bit of a letdown. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but I was expecting "great" because Mina's name is attached to this restaurant. Overall, what I can say about this place is that it was "nothing special." The only special thing about this restaurant was the starter pita breads that came with 3 dipping sauces. I ordered the surf and turf and at $59 I was expecting something great. What I got was a decent filet mignon with an OK side of lobster. The waitress also didn't ask me if my steak was cooked correctly and had the right temperature which I assumed was just a standard question they ask at these high-end restaurants. We ordered a side of truffled mac and cheese which was good but the caesar salad was again, nothing special. Overall a good but boring meal.
