| - I have to give big, BIG, BIG!! ups to Bradbury's. It's my most frequented spot for a semi-casual breakfast by far, and it isn't just because it's the closest spot to where I live. Here's a few reasons why I love this place:
- Nearly all of their ingredients are local, and you can read the farm list right next to the entrance.
- The space itself is great. The chairs and tables remind me of elementary school art class (in a good way!). All but one of the walls are windows, so it has a great view out to the street and the lake.
- Although I don't drink it too much, they make a mean Chai, Latte, espresso, and cold press.
- The menu changes frequently, so it very much rewards repeat visits. They're also accommodating toward any diet restrictions, as they can make gluten free crepes with buckwheat, and will happily replace meat/cheese from crepes with something else.
- Above all else, the crepes are usually very good. I've had a couple that I didn't like so much (someone mentioned the pesto one being bland, which I can attest to), but more often than not, they're hits due to the sometimes eccentric/high quality ingredient choices.
All of this makes me come to Bradbury's at least weekly, and i'll keep going there for likely all of time (that I live in Madison)!
