  • MIND BLOWN ! I took my 2018 Camaro ZL1 into Sands for service after a very negative experience at their closest competitor. I was greeted by Michael, the service manager, and Danny, my awesome service advisor as soon as I pulled up. The car was immediately checked in and they handled everything in a short time. The attention to detail that was displayed was beyond anything that I would get after 10 years with Lexus and 3 high end sedans. The car needed 4 tires, alignment, oil, and a service bulletin job on the front hubs. I was told at the nearest competitor that they don't do "big stuff' on the weekends because they don't have enough techs and that they don't want "kids" working on these nice cars. Sands service finished it all and called me to ask whether I wanted Mobil 1 or the standard Dexos. Called a second time to ask about my preferred tire pressure ( I track the car ), and offered to add Nitrogen rather than air. Then ( and this really impressed me ) the service advisor called at ask if it was OK for the Service manager to test drive the car for me to make 100% sure the balance was perfect. I am a little.....a lot.....OCD about my balance quality, especially with the extreme speeds the car sees on the race track where speeds of 140-150 mph are common and unwanted vibration is magnified. I emphasized that, and the manager himself showed me all the modern equipment they had ( all top notch Hunter equipment with techs who actually know what a match balance is! ) to assure me it would be perfect and then test drove the car to verify, and in all honesty the car rides better than it has for the 6 months Ive had it. When I left Lexus after 10 years for Chevy and purchased a $70,000 car I simply assumed that the added expense to me as a customer would be reduced service quality and maybe even with reliability and the only conclusion I can come too after 6 months and a visit to Sands is there is NO loss is quality. In fact, it seems better on every front. Other than a loaner car there truly is no loss, and with the ability to receive top notch quality service and customer care on Saturday its a 10/10 customer experience. Means a lot as an owner to feel that you are dealing with professionals and to feel that you have the security in knowing your pride and joy will be maintained by the best! I will be sure to spread the word about you. I am truly amazed the difference between the customer care here vs the last. Night and Day! Thank you !
