I went there on a Saturday night recently during a boys trip to Vegas. First of all the hostess seem perturbed when I showed up a half-hour early and told her that our reservation is minus one. She seemed even more perturbed when I came back and said we are now up to our original number which was 7. You think this is the first time in Vegas history that a group has shrunk because someone wanted to keep chasing their money and then thought better of it? We still had 7 people ready to drop some cash. Anyway, they seat us on time which is the last positive thing I'll say in this review. After sitting down it takes around 10 minutes to order our drinks and when we ask to order wine they won't let us until the wine steward comes over. After another 10 minutes the steward comes to our table and tells he'll be right back. That was the last we saw of him. By this time almost 30 minutes has expired and we haven't even ordered appetizers. (One importnt warning to others, the pricing designation you see is not even close. All steaks were in the $50 range with the cheapest thing on the menu being chicken for $36.) Look I live in LA and I've dined at plenty of expensive restaurants but for these prices I expect more than a dining room in need of a serious remodel and service that wouldn't even cut it in the islands. The service had this forced formality that became comical after a while. When they brought us the bread basket they acted like they were presenting us the damn Hope Diamond. Finally, after 30 minutes of not seeing our original waiter or the wine steward we got up and left. We politely told the hostess what happened and she seemed unconcerned. Honestly, I was glad she didn't try to talk us into staying because it wasn't happening. Obviously, I can't speak to the food but for the prices and level of service there are HUNDREDS of places in LV that are a lot better. I'm sincerely glad others enjoyed it. I get that places have bad nights but life is too short for another try.
