Fool me once......
UPDATED REVIEW
A year and a half after purchasing our brand new 2014 Malibu from Thorobred, we received a call asking about our interest in a buy back program so we could upgrade to an Impala. Although we had a terrible experience last time we wanted to try again ( I really like the Impalas)...... big mistake.
I'll make it fast.
A day after I traded our 2014 Malibu for a 2015 Impala I began to notice little tiny red dots all over the body. After taking back and forth a couple times the service department called it "rail dust". The dust eventually got wet and then left RUST spots on the body. They were tiny and it was night when I finally left after buying it. I had to make 4 more trips in less than two weeks including leaving our brand new car with the dealer three times because they did not get it all each time. Despite them being small dots, its RUST, IN AZ! While I took the car in to have it fixed I was given a loaner car..... a Malibu. Yes, I traded in my pristine condition Malibu and bought a 2015 Impala, just to drive a Malibu all over again. Talk about a kick to the nuts. Had to make ANOTHER trip because after one of the fixing attempts, they did not put my chrome moldings back on.... yes really.
After some help from Management, they picked up the car this time and even threw in some tint which was awesome. I was happy to finally get someone who seemed to care.
Car still has spots, I gave up trying anymore. Thorobred did the paperwork on the car incorrectly as well. I just found out this morning I have to make ANOTHER trip to pick up the plates I never received due to their clerical error. Good thing I don't have a 16 month old, a new born, and a recovering wife to take care of.
