Didn't have reservations and showed up with 8 people for dinner on a Saturday night at 530. We were told we got lucky and a long table at the entrance was just clearing out so we went outside to wait. 20 minutes later, we were seated.
Server came over to let us know it was still happy hour and took our drink order. We started with bundido and 2 orders of deviled eggs with chorizo on them. Both were good.
After seeing all the corn and taco pictures, we almost all had to try it. I also had the ceviche which I wouldn't recommend. The chips are good but very oily. The salsas were all good. They gave a big bowl and 3 little ones with more flavor and heat.
Service was just super slow. All the food came out separately. It took forever for 4 people to get their food and everyone had to start cause the corn was getting cold.
The last 2 guys got their food 15 minutes at least after everyone else. Server said sorry but my corn also didn't come out. Great on asking if we wanted more drinks but I felt bad for my birthday dinner guests who watched us eat. The kitchen must-have been backed up.
The interior is beautiful in a side note. Old church with stained glass windows and beautifully decorated. Loved the wood benches and the owner or manager seemed to be at the front entrance trying to keep an eye on everything. Would have been nice for him to stop by to at least say sorry for the delay.
They also have a patio that looked cute. Located right next to a starbucks and they have valet parking in their lot.
Food is good. Service time was really bad thus just 3 stars. Definitely try the corn...it's great and even the soup was delish.
