A delight to the eyes for nature lovers and food-conscious types. As the nation's only farmer's market within the grounds of a national park, you won't find a better setting to buy your meat and vegetables, or home-baked pretzels, pierogies, kombucha, croissants or gnocchi... There is lots to choose from here, and the best part is that nothing feels touristy or gimmicky; this is no big city farmers markets where people peddle knick-knacks from China in the booth next to the vegetable guy.
A place to feel proud of if you live in the area, and a great place to bring guests from out of town on a sunny Saturday in June to see the bucolic beauty of the Mid West/almost Mid Atlantic.
