  • After a horrible experience with Ruffles Hair Design (see other review for a nightmare story!) I walked into Sora that same day and they made room for me right away! I am white and from other reviews that I've read I understand that this is a Korean salon with mostly Japanese stylists. And, like I've read in other reviews, despite some obvious language barriers, the stylists really take their time to listen to what you want. GREAT PRICES TOO! My cut was $35 plus tip and I have very long hair. My only complaint would be that my stylist cut my hair dry but I believe that's normal in Japanese salons (? correct me if I'm wrong). I probably should have asked him to wet it first but after he had cut it he asked if I wanted a shampoo. Also, when I said I wanted my ends thinned out, he thinned out my whole head of hair a little too much but again, I should have spoken up. Overall, for the price and the very nice cut with a few minor things I would have changed AND the fact that they fit me in so quickly for a walk-in I would say Sora is a good place to go!
