| - Los Reyes de la Torta serves fairly authentic Mexican food. Services is efficient and friendly. The restaurant was pleasantly not crowded when we came here for a Sunday lunch. Chips and salsa immediately arrived, and the food was surprisingly quick to arrive after we ordered.
The Del Rey is one of their biggest tortas - ham, cheese, pork, hot dog omelet, and more! Of course, I had to give this a try since it sounds like a meat lovers dream. I have to say - it is a little TOO flavorful. The combination of meats, egg, cheese, and avocado kind of blend together. While it's not at all bad per se, the tastiness of each ingredient is overwhelmed. Eh...worth a try anyway.
Burritos were good. Nice grilled texture, and perfect ratio of ingredients - you have a wide variety of filling choices. There's also a nice selection of plated entrees.
Price is reasonable - $4 to $10 per dish. The decor is also nice. I was expecting a dive-type hole in the wall, but it's actually fairly clean (though I didn't use the restroom and can't judge there).
