  • After dinner with friends last night we decided to go for some coffee ans desert. Conveniently located on Central between IndianSchool and Camelback, right in front of the light rail. (don't miss it, its a hidden gem) My friend suggested Lux and I was pleasantly surprised walking into what seemed to be some sort of old warehouse that had been turned into a fun laid back coffee shop/restaurant. There were so many people relaxing enjoying coffee with friends, people on their laptops studying and working and a bar full of laughter enjoying cocktails and food. I had a vanilla latte accompanied by a tasty lemon bar which is made fresh in the kitchen everyday and the menu is always changing. Lux roasts their coffee in house so the aroma when you walk in is absolutely amazing. This seems to be a great place to go if you are new in town and want to meet new people. The atmosphere is very young and friendly, lots of college students. I will definitely be returning! P.S. beware... I am told the macaroni and cheese is to die for!
