| - I don't know about the sales department, but the service department is something to stay far away from. Had our 2007 Altima towed there due to starting issues. I myself had already had the battery and starter removed and took to Autozone for testing, both checked out fine. Put the parts back in and had it towed over to Avondale Nissan. They quickly concluded it was the battery, hmmmm, I had that checked earlier in the day and it checked out fine which we told them. They insisted it was the culprit. Fine, put a new battery in, everything fine for about a month, then the same issue, car will not start. Read online these cars have common problems with the brake/ignition switch, you have to depress the brake to start the engine and that switch becomes faulty. Got the car started again and drove it over, they wanted nearly 500 washingtons to replace the switch, a 30 dollar part that takes a mere 20 seconds to install which I did myself, they also insisted that a new wiring harness was needed at a cost of 250 bucks, which I bought but clearly did not need as the car starts right up now after replacing the switch. This OBVIOUSLY was the original problem 2 months ago which they mis diagnosed, probably on purpose knowing the trouble would reappear and more business would be coming there way. These jokers are either really poorly trained technicians or just plain incompetent. A battery is pretty easy to check if it's good or not, these clowns couldn't diagnose a flat tire with a 8 inch spike in it. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY from this stealership.
No more Nissans for us, Toyota or Honda only for future purchases, Nissan knew about this problem occurring to most of these cars yet did nothing about it. Screw you Nissan.
Peace.
