We stayed here 4 weeknights on the off season and left somewhat dissatisfied.
The good:
The Hotel is very clean and decorated well. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony for no additional charge. The room was very modern. The bathroom was large and the climate control was easy to use. The swimming pool was fabulous. We spent about 2 hours each afternoon in the pool area. They have a nice bar with reasonably priced drinks and food, and the people are friendly. There is WIFI in the rooms for free, and the exercise room is nice.
The bad:
The walls in our room were the thinnest I have ever experienced. The people in the room next to us were having a normal conversation at around 10pm and we could hear every single word of it. They weren't yelling, they were talking at a normal inside voice level. We could hear them urinating in the toilet, watching Jeopardy, and then saying goodnight to each other. We whispered whenever we talked in our room. I could not believe a "4-star hotel" had this kind of issue. Luckily there was no one in the room next to us for 3 out of the 4 nights.
There are many obvious amenities taken away in order to maximize their profits. There is no refrigerator in the room. I called and asked if any rooms had refrigerators and they told me it was 10 dollars a night for a small fridge. This is so you buy all your drinks in the casino. The TV was a modern 42" flat screen TV with 30 channels, no channel guide and no HD service. The movies to purchase are in excess of 15 dollars each. They disable all the HDMI ports on the TV's so you can't cheat and wire in your laptop. They want you to be as bored as possible in your room so you leave and spend your money in the Casino. The idea of this alone pissed me off. Housekeeping comes at different times every day and if you ask them to come back later so you can throw some clothes on really quick they will not come back. I called 4 times in an 8 hour period requesting housekeeping and they never showed up.
I will probably not be staying here again.
