This was my first experience here. The check in process was very manual and takes some time but is typically of most doctor offices. The office was running about 40 minutes behind schedule and didn't give you a sense of your wait time. This was frustrating because we had another appointment afterwards. Once we were in a room the staff was there promptly. The assistant was very friendly and the doctor listened to our concerns. Though this was a body check, the doctor chose to take 10 total moles off my wife and I. It seemed aggressive but considering our family history maybe this was appropriate or typical. Either way, the shots and removal was straight forward and easy and I have a low pain tolerance. I would recommend Dr Johnson just for his bed side manner. The samples were sent off for testing which takes about two weeks. Overall was a good visit. Just needs to improve the front desk experience.
Update: Before going to see them please read up on atypical moles. 1 in 10 people have them. I have provided a link below. This office likes to call them cancerous but scientific research shows these do not pose the risk as the office makes them out. The office wants to treat these aggressively in my opinion needlessly. Sufficient scraping is all that is necessary to remove even mild cancers. Ask questions and know what your getting yourself into.
