  • We ordered a cake for our gender reveal here and we picked this place because behind the counter it had so called all these reviews that they are the best in town. The cake was dry, sour and tasteless and so plain! It was so bad out of the 50 people that came to our party which we ordered a cake for 20 people for $100 in the lemon flavor because the owner said it was the most popular flavor of choice ended up in the trash. Nobody liked it. We actually left it in the clubhouse so any residents would help themselves and 5 days later we threw it out. You are better off saving money and ordering a cake that will be enjoyable from wal-mart. We shouldve known the warning signs because my husband purchased the apple pie here and i myself have purchased the cheesecake and we both didnt like it. Bottom line the taste is not very good. Very dry & tasteless. Their prices are outrageous. Cannot believe I spent $100 for my gender reveal cake. I guess it's over priced because of the location its in. Since writing this honest review, I got a response from Neil with inaccurate information. First I did not block them from Yelp I don't know how to do that on this app. There also was no venue because this was a private party. The reason why it took 2 months to write my review is because i thought it was just my husband and I's opinion but as time went by everyone we spoke to told us cake was not good. It got frustrating because It became a punch line about my reveal party. Lastly, the reason why I ordered a cake from you after the apple pie & cheesecake was based on the fact that they had all these awards from magazines and food network and I assumed I just got a bad pastry due to it being at the end of the day, never thought a personal order would taste similar. There is no remedy I am not looking for a refund and cant bring back time. I want other consumers to just know about my personal experience because that is what Yelp is for. One last thing I don't appreciate you saying you went to the venue. Because there was no venue.. I could ask my guest to write a review of their experience of your cake so that you don't think i'm hating. No reason to be upset it should be taken as constructive criticism so you can sell a better product or a more consistent product that will give you consistent 5 star reviews. I do have one nice thing to say the staff is very nice, they have a professional business it was just the taste of the cake, it was not good. No where near what i expected.
