  • Very pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Reviewers say the rooms are dated, but they are clean, perfectly maintained and with solid wood furniture that is classy, even if not 21st century modern. Plenty of drawers and counter space for storage. And sizable nighttables. Bed and feather pillows are very comfortable. Reviewers say the bathroom is small, but that is because it is designed to accompany a really nice alcove for storage, with more counter space and out-of-the-way fridge and coffee maker. Closet space is ample. The bathroom has plenty of counter space and the latest shower and sink fixtures. It has plenty of room for one person at a time, maybe even 2 at the sink. The indoor pool area is lovely, with glass wall and roof to the outside. And the fitness centre is one of the best hotel facilities I've seen, with 4 TV-equipped treadmills, 4 TV-equipped elliptical, weight, leg, and much other equipment. Location is great, right near metro and shopping and restaurants on St Catherine St and environs. High floors have tremendous city views. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
