| - Bare bones grocery store with some surprises. The new location is nicer than the old one. You can find very basic items here but don't expect to find fresh herbs, dental floss, exotic fruits and vegetables, extracts and flavorings, etc. The prices are unbeatable but the selection is quite limited. That said there are some really good deals on certain things that they do carry, such as cheeses, meats, seafood, vegetables, etc.
I also go here because they have a decent selection of foods ingredients that are marked gluten-free including almonds (but no other nuts, surprisingly), dairy products, some baking supplies, meats, etc.
They only will take cash or debit cards, which took me by surprise the first time I came here. You have to pay for any bags, which I think is a good idea as it cuts down on waste.
Although a very basic store, it does carry a large selection of German and European chocolates and treats such as stollen, lebkuchen, and other "exotic" items. It also has some seasonal items.
Also, no annoying music blasting through the speakers. That's always a plus for me.
