This location is definitely on the smaller side, but it has everything I need. The only weird thing equipment-wise was the weight area set up by the cable and smith machines- it was a little awkward hopping onto the smith which is directly facing the cable machine that a guy was using. Don't know why LA doesn't turn the smith to face the mirror.
Another thing that brought down my rating is the sales vibe. Signing up felt like I was buying a car, and there's a bit of pressure to have a "free personal training session." Even after expressing that I prefer not to have one, a personal trainer came over and asked me about trying it. She was sweet and I didn't want to feel like an a-hole, so I did my session and then was in disbelief when she told me the price of $55 per session PLUS an "initiation" fee. Thanks, but no thanks. I would rather pay a trainer like her to help train me and provide nutritional guidance minus the middle man, because I know the trainer would at least get a good profit, not just $15 and LA keeping the rest.
