| - Decided to join this gym a few weeks ago because lets face it, you cannot beat all the services they offer for $24 per month.
Their is a ton of equipment so even in on peak times you can certainly find yourself a spot in any section. Now, I don't use the weights, so I'm not too knowledgeable about the availability of those sections.
Paper towel is not always re stocked and that is one of the reasons why I gave this gym a 3 stars. Their are certainly enough employees working in any given shift that their is no excuse for this.
The tanning beds are very good and the bulbs are regularly replaced. I cannot say enough about the Total Body Enhancement machine. I use it 4-5x a week and I have already seen results.
I wouldn't say I work out for long, but using this machine is shrinking my body fat at a rapid pace. Also, you cannot beat the fact that they let you bring a friend. My husband always comes with me, so it's a bonus!
Another reason I didn't give this place a 5 star rating is because of the customer service. Their are only a couple of employees that I've seen that are upholding their positions as far as greeting members as they walk in and leave and just being professional and polite.
I always say thank you when I come out of the tanning and I usually don't get a response, or if I do, I get a mmm hmm.. Most look miserable to be there. One time I arrived and one employee was chatting with another employee. They both saw that I was standing there to scan my card and they were both taking their time to finish their conversation before they got to me. Really?
Definitely not the same experience I receive at the Dundas St W location..
Lastly, I'm really not too fond of the area. Not the best part of town. This gym is a win win, like I said, nothing will beat the price. Even though I would say that I don't completely feel welcomed here by employees, I still wouldn't choose any other gym over it.
Even though it's a gym that cannot be beat price wise, I feel the employees definitely need some re training in customer service and just basic manners.
