I booked the Evening of Scotchs for my husband and I as a Christmas present. It was so fun! It was a group of ten people in the scotch library. There was a scotch ambassador dressed to the nines in a kilt. He lead the class by talking continuously all about how scotch is made, where it's made, what the name on the bottle means, etc. Then he lead us through 3 pours of scotch, describing each one. He had to finish in an hour for an event afterward which made him rush a bit, but he was very nice to tell us we could stay and nurse the scotch as long as we wanted. The tickets are $50 each and they automatically add a service charge and gratuity. So the total was $64 for one person. A bit pricey but it was a good experience. :) The library itself is impressive. They have some of the most expensive scotch in the world. We just admired all the scotch we didn't know existed for a while after the class. I recommend this event, even better if you stay and dine at the resort after!
