Small family friendly ballpark for the fans of either the Spring Home of the Reds or Indians major league baseball teams. I showed up today for todays game the Seattle Mariners vs Cincinnati Red's 2017 spring training game. First off very easy parking for handicapped visitors ( Dad had the pass ) so that's a plus. After you pass thru the metal detecters the you can either walk into the gift shop or to your seats.
I decide to check out the swag for the teams. Not that I really need anything but you never know what you find. Today's the day my mind will be blown because in the back of the store I find a JOBU doll. I can't f__king believe my eyes it's a real JOBU doll. I dance around as happy as a clam and she will my special lady friend my good fortune as she's clueless to what I located.
( JOBU: Voodoo doll in movie Major League )
Ok, so now I'm off for some treats and I find an ice cream truck in left field. Damn good ice cream but a tad slow so the line grows. Food choices were excellent for my enjoyment. Had a grilled Italian sausage with peppers & onions yummmmm.
Needless to say the ball park in the lower bowl is very intimate with access to ball players for autographs prior to first pitch of the game. Your odds have defiantly increased on getting a foul ball if your sitting in the corner sections of the park. If you wanna lay out in the outfield theres plenty of grass to lay out on. Picnic style atmosphere for family's to enjoy.
Baseball in spring is a ritual you must experience annually to truly understand why I come year after year . Thank god for this wonderful stadium cause it's very nice.
