  • No thanks. Had a tech come out and quote a price for smoke testing the plumbing to find a potential gas leak that was creating a smell. After I scheduled the follow up, I called several other plumbers to do a little research (even ones that didn't do smoke tests), and the price they all gave me was less than HALF what this place quoted. Keep in mind this was for normal business hours, non-emergency service scheduled in advance. Upon canceling, I was told all prices are standard; however, they wouldn't tell me what those are over the phone (was asking them to confirm the price was actually that high for a standard smoke test, or if I somehow misunderstood the tech, etc....they wouldn't even do that). Smells funny to me.
