| - No beef with the actual person I dealt with, but the whole encounter reflected Verizon's reputation for poor customer service. I'm a long-term customer, and pay a hefty monthly bill, yet there was no flexibility in helping me find a more economical payment plan (I'm being charged for much more bandwidth than I use or need), or to get into a better phone. They've got me on a contract, so why bother. Moreover, their "special offers" are often misleading, with large hidden costs. I only stay with them because of their good coverage; hopefully, some other company will develop a comparable network, and treat its customers more fairly. As soon as I find one, it'll be goodbye Verizon. Oh, half-hour wait in this understaffed store, and not one comfortable chair to sit on---that tells you how much they care.
