  • We have lived in this place for three years. The best part of this place is the maintenance, all the workers are pleasant and they come same day and they will fix everything perfectly. Aside from this, this place is horrible. The workers in this complex have had so much turnover and they treat long time residents like myself like garbage. Two of my packages were stolen over Christmas and when I spoke to the office about it, they couldn't care less. Shortly after, they heavily cracked down on their policy of needing to show ID and having the paper slip from your mailbox to get your packages. I got annoyed because they have seen my face every day for three years, and yet they still wanted me to prove who I was. I had already shown it previously so it didn't make sense to me, but whatever. When I asked them why they were cracking down without notice (I would have otherwise been prepared) I was told that someone had issues with their packages being stolen. They can care about other families, but not mine? In addition to this, after I got upset, the office started treating me even worse. I would get tracking that my packages have been delivered and yet people in the office were telling me I had no packages there. Yet suddenly, days later it would be there. I never asked for them to hold my mail and for them to withhold it from me is not even legal. They are clearly messing with me because I am not their favorite resident. There have been multiple safety incidents, our car was broken into, our neighbors car window was smashed and a bullet left on the hood of their car, and I didn't get the sense that anyone cared. I had asked for on site security to be brought back like we once had and they said they would look into it and I never heard another word about it. The pool is always cold and dirty and the gas grills never work. Every time I speak to someone in the office I get nothing but bad attitude. This is what really has set me off - they have raised my rent $310 over the last three years. First we did a 15 month, then a 12, and then a 6. We wanted to do another 12 or 15 so I called and found out the rent would go up yet again. I looked on the website and the exact same units are going for a couple of hundred dollars less. They told me I can pay new deposits and move into a different unit to get that price. I really didn't want to take on the hassle of moving so I offered to pay the deposits and sign the 15 month lease to get the rate offered on the website and keep my current unit. That wouldn't work, according to them. I was told, "You know when you sign up for a contract as a new customer and you get great deals? It's like that. Then after you have been a customer under contract you don't get that anymore." They don't care about their current residents AT ALL. I said, "if we move out then you are just going to rent it for that amount anyway." Her response? Not necessarily, they might do a different lease term. None of this makes any sense. I either have to haul my stuff into a different unit and pay the deposit, or I have to leave. Needless to say, I'm leaving. The bad attitude of the staff and poor customer service has stuck a chord with me one too many times. Go somewhere where your time and money are valued and stay away from this place.
