We went for lunch on a Monday. The place was mostly empty, booths in disrepair, the walls and floor look grimy and the lady that sat us wasn't friendly. Then our waitress was even less friendly. No smile, no welcome, just not a reasonable welcome to paying customers. Then the salsa = good grief it was like hot sauce in a cup!! I asked for "gringo" salsa and it was basically tomato sauce with onions in a cup = neither of these options worked for me so I wasn't able to enjoy the chips & salsa like I usually do at a mexican restaurant :-( The chicken fajitas were alright, nothing to write home about, but certainly passable. There wasn't anything at Maria's that I'd return for, and that's a shame :-(
