I enjoyed massages for 17 years and never experienced a mediocre or bad massage.I loved the ME concept so when I came to LV, I signed up for a membership on my first visit. Huge mistake. Turnover is extremely high and ME policies clearly designed for CYA (theirs) detract from YOUR massage. My first massage was good; but the therapist was leaving the next day. The next massage was the worst of my life, the third a bit better than the worst. ME seems hyper focused on pressure (huh) and therapists are required to ask light, medium or firm and that is what you get in spite of what you ask or direct. During the massage, each will ask how is the pressure. Because I don't care for the massages I don't go often and because of their cancellation policy, I am still a member. Use what you have within 30 days of cancellation or lose the massages and your money. I have 13 massages left. I lose whether I go or stay a member. I am in the process of giving massages away (there is a transfer fee) with a caution. Before going be sure you have a therapist recommendation, personal is best and Yelp is way better than just crossing your fingers.
NOTE: A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST ME termination/cancellation policies was certified this year. The court has not yet approved the settlement; but, at present former members will have only a portion of lost massages reinstated and current members will have 60 days to use or lose all massages. ME does not respect its customers. Even with the lawsuit they are content in their ways. I feel sorry for ME employees. I can't imagine that employees receive much more, if any, respect than customers.
