I occasionally get dinner here before or after watching a movie at the cineplex cinema across the street. They have a nice selection of Japanese food: good ramen, tasty torched mackerel, decent black cod, ok okonomiyaki and takoyaki, a selection of uninspiring grilled items that are often burnt, and mochi and taiyaki.
The servers are friendly, but seem overwhelmed and won't check on you during busy hours unless you wave at them. Most of the kitchen is open and visible to the customers-if you worry a lot about hygiene, this may not be the right place for you.
They have a karaoke room downstairs and maintain a generally loud atmosphere (loud music + occasional banging on the table for their signature drink). I won't go out of my way to get food here, but if you're into Japanese food and watching movies, you might find a way to appreciate this place as i do :)
