I find it funny that thrift stores get reviews. This one has always been pretty much the worst thrift store in all of Toronto. I used to live down the street from it numerous years ago and a lot of mine and my families clothes are thrifted. I can honestly say I almost never found anything clothing wise here in all the years I've been thrifting TO (over 20 years?) and a recent visit showed me it hasn't really changed. It smells bad (or something did anyway) and you have to run the gauntlet of weird hanging around people in the awkward bottleneck that is the entrance. Even the old Jarvis ST Buy the Pound didn't bother me as much and that is really saying something. On a more positive note, they had an electric organ for $50 and I have found good readable books on occasion.
