We've heard mixed reviews from our friends about this place. Mostly that it was more a bar than a sushi restaurant. We decided to try it anyway since it was open later than our 2 usual spots. We were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was great, super helpful with explaining their menu and gave some great recommendations.
The Surf and Turf roll would have been good if there hadn't been some sort of sauce on it that I just didn't like that much. Their salmon nigiri was good, the yellowtail was a little too fishy for me but I'm very picky when it comes to yellowtail. I forgot what else we ordered but it was pretty good iirc. Their prices are a bit on the high side if you miss happy hour. We might stop by here again, but it just wasn't good enough to topple our two favorite places.
