  • After paying over $500 for a hair coloring, I don't think I will be back. After showing a picture of the ash brown tone I wanted, Vincent, the "master" stylist proceeded to work on my hair without explaining anything to me. I had to pipe in and ask what are you doing now every now and then. Sitting for around 7 hours (2 bleaching sessions) you'd think that your hair would turn out fantastic, which it did right after they styled it and blow dried it. They got me to purchase this purple shampoo and conditioner for $80 and after two days, I washed my hair using that product... I blow dried my hair and the color completely changed to green. I went into work the next day and everyone asked me why I dyed my hair green. It was embarrassing. I emailed the salon and they offered to fix it. I came in today after work, and Vincent took a look at my hair and said it looks fine. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Without engaging in any conversation, he was very clearly annoyed that he had to fix my hair. He handled my hair roughly and splattered some dye on my face. He used a towel to roughly rub off the dye and I swear he rubbed it so hard my foundation came off. He then starts attending to other customers and was making small talk and laughing - Total attitude change. I am more upset about the terrible service, considering he is a "Master" Stylist, I shouldn't even have to come back to fix the color. Especially after I paid $575 after tax and tips! They "fixed" the color by reverting it back to my original color, so I pretty much bleached my hair two times for nothing. They also didn't bother styling it for me, just blow dried it and ushered me out. The only nice thing I have to say about this salon is the Japanese staff are all very pleasant and nice. It's just the owner Vincent who is super unfriendly unless you're his long-time client. WON'T BE BACK! If anyone has recommendations for a skilled colorist, please message me!
