I'm in town with three teenage girls - who are here for a sport. We are staying in a two queen room.
The valets are the friendliest ... the warmest men to have the pleasure to deal with. The front desk rep that checked me in was superb - offered kind words and valuable area information. The room was clean and comfortable. BREAKFAST at HABITAT was sensational. Delicious!
There is no pool! I failed to check on this when I booked -- who would have thought there would not be a pool here.
The gym -- Here's my rub ... I'm here with three teenage girls, no pool ... so we go to work out in the gym and the girls are not permitted. These girls are athletic and know how to behave in a gym, they know what to do in a gym..
They have to be 18 years old REGARDLESS of a parent's presence. The gym attendant was a snooty, unsympathetic, matter of fact, don't come back - I don't care if we lose your business kinda gal.
I even spoke to the front desk about it. Results were unsuccessful but sympathetic.
And room towels, three??? for two queen beds.
Don't make me call to request a towel. Geesh.
The high price of the room coupled with no pool, the gym attendant, and the gym policy in general is unreasonable, annoying, and insulting. It will be a deal killer for return visits.
I gave less than an average score because the average hotel would kindly let my teenagers use the gym if even supervised. And an average hotel provides four towels for four guests.
