This was a great surprise the Friday that we were "doing Downtown". The Farmer's Market is located in a former bus terminal, and there are few food trucks parked where the buses used to line up.
The stalls are mostly inside and the variety is fantastic, lots of mouth watering local produce arranged beautifully in baskets and boxes. There are also folks selling a huge variety of potted plants, creative baked goods and interesting craft items.
I wish I took notes because there were alot of things that I hadn't seen before -- different fruits and vegetables, unusual cookies, craft items with a twist. I just remember it being alot of fun going from one stall to another and wishing I was a local so that I could load up on things!
It's right next to the Mob Museum and only a few blocks from the downtown casinos. Check the hours, I think it's only on Fridays.
