  • Hayden Road Animal Hospital is the best vet I have found... through six moves, four states & five years of looking for a vet in the Phoenix area. I found Dr. Ryan through a friend with an older dog with health issues & as I had been floating between vets where I either loved the vet/hated the staff, loved the staff/hated the vet, or hated both, I took her advice & went to Dr. Ryan. He spent time getting to know my dogs (all three), especially my 15 year old. But that isn't what moved me to write a review... I was dog sitting for a friend & when her dog started vomiting & acting weird & his regular vet was unavailable, the folks at Hayden Road got us an appointment in 20 minutes (given that it is a 15 minute drive... that is a five minute wait), got him care right away, dealt with my utter panic with firm compassion, & got him back to healthy in short order. They gave me the doctor's personal email to share with my friend so she could get in contact with him if she had questions or concerns. They were amazing in an emergency. & the bill came in at half of what I was expecting given the number of x-rays & tests, etc. Amazing! I have found my forever vet!
