| - I know absolutely nothing about bikes. Except for how to ride them. So when I visit a bike shop and am instantly treated like a regular customer who can deal with a learning curve, I'll be back and I'll bring more money.
Husband and I were in the market for new bikes, so, having followed State on Facebook and Twitter for a while, I suggested we check them out since they're local. We looked at some of the models online before heading in for a purchase. I love that they do their own color schemes/themes and retire old models in order to bring in new ones. They will always have something to fawn over color-wise, and their recent expansion into trick bikes and more durable, thicker rides is just par for the course.
That they ship pretty much everywhere and allow you to purchase parts individually for your own customizing is really great, too. I love that I can mix and match my tires, frame, seat, handlebars, etc with whatever colors I want (with some money, of course).
So, with two bikes from State, their wonderfully amazing customer service (Adam is the nicest hipster - if I can call him that - I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with), and local location, I'm sure I'll find another reason to spend money with this company.
