  • We had free guest passes to check out Costco. I had been to sams club as a kid but never costco (& i barely remember sams) In all honesty, we had a fun saturday morning here (something I never say while at a grocery store) We browsed and checked out prices. i made a list beforehand of popular items in our home that we could buy in bulk to compare prices. The savings are great. For only a few more bucks than other stores, you get twice as much! All of the employees were very friendly as well as the staff giving out samples. We had a question about something and a staff member knew exactly where it was. I mean the store is huge, that was amazing. Some downsides that i noticed would be the variety. For instance they dont carry ever brand of laundry soap or a variety of flavors in Belvita bars (my fav!) Also, my bf drinks Ensure Nutrition Shakes. They had vanilla, but no chocolate. Bummer. I guess in the end the savings is worth it. We considered a membership but havent just yet.
