| - If I could give this place negative stars (for service, mostly) I would.
We found the hotel after driving all day and weren't blown away by it, but it seemed fine. We had to walk through the casino part (which seemed fine, but we didn't use it). There was a group of female employees standing around, shirtless, in gold bras staring at us--without asking if we needed help.
We got to the room and again weren't overly impressed, but for just under $30 a night (before their ridiculous "resort fee" and $15 a night pet fee), we didn't mind.
Then, we started settling down for the night. We noticed two giant brown stains on the comforter--nasty! This led to pulling back the covers and seeing if the entire bedset was dirty. As you can guess by the rating, it was. There were short little hairs all over the sheets and little orange/red stains as well (looked like a spilled drink or vomit). I pulled the sheet off the mattress on my side of the bed and saw brown stains that looked like feces. Ughhh.
By this point, we'd been in the room MAYBE an hour and a half. There were several other little things wrong with the room, but we went to the front desk to ask if we could just check out and continue on our way. The woman at the front desk said she couldn't do that as we'd "been in the room for several hours now" and offered to move rooms.
We did, but as soon as she wrote the room number down, we saw it was only four doors down. We went and checked it out and it seemed fine (aside from the orange crust all over the bathtowels and being able to smell the neighbors smoking). We stayed the night and agreed to have fees removed in the morning upon checkout.
Well, they wouldn't do it. The front desk clerk wouldn't even remove the $8 "resort fee" which is a complete joke. She offered to have her manager call us to get it fixed, but by this point we just wanted far away from Vegas.
Don't stay here. It's disgusting and no matter how low the fee seems, you get what you pay for.
