I've read a lot of positive things about voodoo monkey, so I decided to give them a try for my next tattoo. I emailed one of the owners and he was quite short with me and didn't really answer my questions.
I don't like to base my opinion off of one person so I contacted another artist there, John. I emailed him in November, I've been up to the shop, he said he would have my sketch ready multiple times; it is now February and I still don't even have a sketch.
I called at least three times and was told that he'd call me back and he hasn't. I happened to reach him once via phone because I called while he was there. I don't quite know what happened, but this is beyond sad!
I expected a high level of customer service, or at least a response, especially from a place that's made the Cleveland hotlist. I can't speak on their art work because I never got the chance to get what I contacted them for.
I will never go back to voodoo monkey and would not recommend that anyone go there either, if they asked me. It was a major waste of time. I'm a little confused about how they made the hotlist, especially if they treat customers the way they did me. I guess that'll just be an enigma...
