| - If you come here on an early weekend morning (a kin to a farmer's market kind of day), you'll notice a variety of customers here-- the morning joggers, the early rising student, or a group of friends curiously dabbling onto what's the next best thing, because they're charmed with the fear-of-missing-out syndrome a la FOMO. Whether you arrive or are leaving, any barista here is all smiles with greetings and farewells.
Suffice to say, I sauntered here on a chilly morning without much expectation. Not so much as a coffee elitist (deity forbid that I ever become one) but more so on lines of, "what can you impress me with that can differentiate from other coffee joints?"
So I ordered their "Golden Cold Brew Fog Latte," sans the ice (originally I tried their Cold Brew Fog Latte, which honestly didn't stand out to me, sadly). As an aforementioned tip: if you want to get the most out of your beverage, ask for no ice, the drink itself is cold all the same. Velvety smooth textures to the taste buds, apparently it is infused with golden turmeric, ginger, and honey. The robust essence of ginger and turmeric was neither overpowering in taste and smell which blended pleasantly with the latte, even though I wouldn't mind if the spices were stronger. However, if you are naturally not used to the taste of ginger, this might not be to your liking. If you are Vegan or are simply dairy-free, their milk options include coconut milk, almond milk, and soy milk.
Speaking of options, if you prefer to sit outdoors to enjoy your drink on a sunny day or a cool midsummer night, they have extra seating at both the front and back end of their cafe.
